We had lunch at Lil Papi's this past Friday and loved the sandwiches especially the bread. Then we realized that the bread is being baked in the bakery adjacent to them. In addition to the incredible bread, they also sell a wide variety of pastries and sweet breads. The best part is that everything in the store, with the exception of the cakes up front, is $1.25. Just grab a pizza tray, a pair of tongs, and serve yourself. The owner will bag your items and you're all set to gain a few pounds. By the way it's CASH ONLY so hit the ATM beforehand.

Fast service, not a dine in. This is a grab and go bakery. Cakes looked really good.

A small bread and pastry shop that is Latino owned and run has been serving the Latino community for years. We are not Latino but we love going here for the pastries. Prices are very reasonable and the pastries are always delicious. Some are sweeter than others but in my opinion they each delicious in their own right. They are a cash only business so keep that in mind. Sometimes the cashier can only speak Spanish but they get their message across either by writing down the amount you owe or by just taking what currency you have out and giving you the change. They are always friendly!!!

I am from California where these bakeries are everywhere. This bakery did not disappoint. The best concha's I've had in North Carolina. Great customer service and very clean. I will be recommending to all my friends

Wow, this was such a nice surprise to find after getting sandwiches next door at Lil Papis. The smell of fresh baked goods hits you right when you walk in, it's seriously like a oven inside, so warm! My clothes had a lingering cinnamon and bread smell after I left. They had tons of baked goods in their display cases and fresh hot baked goods on sheet pan racks. The fresh goods literally just came out of the oven. There's a stack of pizza pans and plenty of serving tongs in the corner to pick the products you want. I tried some of the plain breads, sweet breads, croissant, and a type of dense bread pudding with raisins. The breads were so soft and tasted fresh. They still tasted good a few days old. One of the breads had a hint of coconut extract flavor. They had other bread products filled with bavarian cream, which I sadly did not try. I wasn't a big fan of the peach cake. It was very wet, like a tres leche texture. Canned peaches were used, not fresh so no issues with quality there, as some other reviews mentioned. But maybe they make other cakes with fresh fruit as well. Other cake options they had that day where mocha, strawberry, and I think chocolate chip. Cash only! Shouldn't cost too much, because each of the baked goods was $1 each and the cakes are $2.50 each. So cheap!

panaderia... home of the mexicookies! what else can I say except that I am such a fan of these treats. I've been munching polvorones mexicanos for about a quarter of a century and truth be told they all pretty much look and taste the same. and even when they look different they're still the same; pink, brown, pale yellow... it's the same cookie, color has very little to do with the flavor unless it does and even then it's usually more about toppings and fillings and stuff. masks, occupancy, and distancing guidelines are posted on the doors but I am not entirely sure that is necessary due to the nature of the business. tongs and trays are cleaned between uses and common courtesy means keeping a certain distance between my germs and your platter of treats. I have never known crowding to be an issue, people are polite and respectful when buying breadstuffs. sure there's lots of other things here, most of it is regional variations on breads and cakes and tarts and such but I'm mainly here for the cookies. they don't taste so sugary despite the abundance of sugar and you get the sense that there's actual food-stuffs inside there, not just ingredients :-)
